  1. Dearest Audrey,
The Christmas video is the best gift you could give us for Christmas! I get incredibly emotional watching it; to see your endearing face and that of your teammates and the precious children under your charge, all sharing in fellowship in HIS name, it blesses us to the depths of our hearts. We miss you so much this year, but the emptiness we feel from your absence is a gift we submit to God, as it is being used for His glory.
It was great to skype with you Monday night and hear your account of Christmas Eve with the hill tribe people and Christmas day when your team spoke to the 2,000 highschool students. I’m sad for you in having to encounter the incident of the young girls’ close miss of physical danger while visiting their community, then on Christmas Day the difficulty with your presentation of the Christmas story poorly translated by uncooperative teachers. It reminds us our responsibility in your work is to continue to pray for the Holy Spirit’s shroud of safety over each of you and the children you are living with and that His word be heard no matter what hinderances you encounter. Your words to the teenagers fell on fertile soil somewhere in that crowd, despite the frustration you felt. Praise God in all things, He will use it all for good. Love you, Mom

A couple of my favorite parts: “at least the directions are not in Thai”
and the Happy Christmas in front of the church.

It looked like they loved their sugar cookies 😀
